Millennials make up about 16 percent of the federal workforce. The Office of Personnel Management says it wants to create a greater buzz around the federal job market and hire more young people. Tim McManus, vice president for education and outreach at the Partnership for Public Service, says direct outreach is one of the best ways to get more people interested in a federal career.
