This week on “Fed Access”, host Derrick Dortch speaks with Maj. Gen. Thomas Seamands, commanding general of the U.S. Army Human Resources Command.

The general will give an overview of the command’s mission and goals, and will discuss in detail some of the programs and services that are available to soldiers and veterans around the world.  Seamands will also talk about what the command is doing to build readiness across the Army and how technology will shape the Army’s future.

The Human Resources Command serves as  the  principal agency for day-to-day personnel management of the Army’s active-duty officers, enlisted soldiers, and reservists. It’s headquartered in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
