December 25, 2012 — This week on “Off the Shelf”, Carolyn Alston, executive vice president and general counsel for the Coalition for Government Procurement, and Bill Gormley of the Gormley Group and chairman of the Board of the Coalition for Government Procurement, discuss the year in procurement 2012.

They will highlight and discuss some of 2012’s key procurement initiatives and policy issues including strategic sourcing, contract duplication and the role of interagency contracting programs.

Alston and Gormley also discuss the role of GSA’s multiple award schedule program and the state of commercial item contracting.
