We’ve reported that federal agencies can now turn to another vendor for personalizing their HSPD-12 cards. The Government Printing Office has received permission from GSA to add pictures and personal details to the cards. GPO joins a private company called Oberthur Card Systems in offering personalized cards. David Temoshok, director of Federal Identity Management for GSA’s Office of Governmentwide Policy, explains how the GSA decides to approve vendors to work on HSPD-12 cards.
