How many people work for the government? Turns out, the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ latest numbers show that in June, federal, state and local government jobs are on the decline. The Federal Drive talked about it with Christopher Goodman, an economist with the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He worked on the payroll survey – but tells the Federal Drive that one month doesn’t necessarily indicate a trend.
