April 12, 2013 — This week on “Fed Access”, Phillip Selleh, program manager for the VA Business Accelerator, joins host Derrick Dortch to discuss how this innovative program is helping veterans start their own businesses.
The program was started by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and Selleh will explain how it works, and the services it provides for veterans who want to become entrepreneurs.
Specifically Selleh will discuss what veterans need to know when getting their own businesses off the ground, and how sequestration and the budget battle on Capitol Hill are affecting existing veteran owned businesses that are currently doing contract work for the government.
