June 22, 2012 — Last year, President Obama released his Government-Wide Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Plan, which directed agencies to develop and launch their own strategic diversity and inclusion plans in 2012.

This week on FEDtalk, host Bill Bransford is joined by William Brown, president of the African American Federal Executives Association, Tommy Hwang, chair of the Asian American Government Executives Network, and Veronica Villalobos, director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, to talk about diversity in the Senior Executive Service and in the federal government, as well as agencies’ progress in implementing their diversity plans.
