January 15, 2013 — This week on “Off the Shelf”, Robert Coen, acting program director for the NIH’s National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center or NITAAC, discusses the role of his organization as an executive agent for the government-wide acquisition of information technology.
NITAAC currently manages a family of information technology GWACs including CIOSP3, CIOSP3 Small Business and ECSIII.
Coen provides an update on these contracting vehicles and the current state of the market.
He also provides insight into NITAAC’s proactive approach to customer agency outreach, training and support as well as the vital role the partnership between NITAAC and its contractors plays in delivering best value results.
