April 19, 2013 — This week on “Fed Access”, James Carafano, vice president of Foreign and Defense Policy Studies at the Heritage Foundation, joins host Derrick Dortch, to discuss this week’s terrorist bombings in Boston.
Carafano will talk about the investigation, how it’s being handled, and whether the Department of Homeland Security has the resources it needs to prevent similar attacks in the future.
He will also discuss whether the policies implemented after 9/11 have made us safer, and what citizens can do to become more engaged in the fight against terrorism.
Later in the show, Carafano will talk about “Veteran Nation”, a movie produced by the Heritage Foundation that documents the challenges facing veterans and what communites can do to help those who served in the military.
