November 19, 2013 — This week on “Off the Shelf”, Carolyn Alston, executive vice president and general counsel for the Coalition for Government Procurement, joins host Roger Waldron to discuss a number of contracting issues, including a recent white paper issued by the coalition, that looks at GSA’s schedule pricing policy.
The coalition issued some recommendations on how to improve the policy, including eliminating the “price reduction clause”, and deleting the term “most favored customer” from schedule contracts.
Alston also gives her thoughts on strategic sourcing, contract duplication, commercial item contracting, and the coalition’s recently completed fall conference.
