Meredith Somers

Meredith Somers was a digital news writer, editor and reporter at Federal News Radio from 2015 to 2018. She covered the city council and board of education beat in Columbus, Ohio before moving to the Washington, D.C. area in 2008 where she worked as a county government reporter for the Maryland Independent. In 2011, Meredith joined The Washington Times as a general assignment reporter on the Metro desk. Most recently she worked for the Associated Press as a state government reporter covering the General Assembly of Maryland.
