The Biden administration is setting goals for agencies to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across all federal operations by 2050, including a 65% reduction by 2030.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act gave agencies billions of dollars to advance those goals. Projects include decarbonization of federal buildings, fleets and the federal supply chain. Agencies also have seven goals to work toward including reducing water usage in facilities, increasing the use of renewable energy and making their facilities more energy efficient overall. Agencies need the data, analytical tools and expertise to help change the way they buy, consume and manage facilities, products and acquisition decisions.

Join us on Dec. 5 for Federal News Network’s Sustainability Exchange where we will sit down with agency and industry leaders who will dive into these goals and how agencies can make strategic decisions to achieve them.
