Tom Temin’s Second Annual Motorcycle Ride for Charity

Federal Drive anchor Tom Temin is hosting his second annual Motorcycle Ride for Charity on Friday, June 25, 2021 to benefit the Federal Employee Education & Assistance Fund and Friends of Patients at the NIH. You can donate to the great causes here.

The Federal Employees Education and Assistance Fund, led by executive director Joyce Warner, offers grants and loans to federal employees affected by emergency situations, as well as education scholarships to feds or their immediate family members.

Friends of Patients at the NIH, led by CEO Heidi Williams, offers housing and other support to people in clinical trials at the National Institutes of Health.

Riders will gather at 9:30 a.m. and depart at 10 a.m.. The ride will start at Frederick Harley Davidson, 5722 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD  21704, and end around 12 p.m. at Daingerfield Island, just off the George Washington Parkway west of National Airport. The exact route is still to be determined.
