Reaction to OMB 25-point IT reform plan

Former USDA CIO Anne Reed responds to OMB\'s plan to reform IT management.

Reforms are in the works for the way your agency buys, uses and manages technology. The Office of Management and Budget released its 25-point plan aimed at bringing agencies in-line with commercial practices through agile development. The detailed framework will also push for the use of light technologies like cloud computing.

So what has been the reaction to OMB’s framework? Anne Reed, former CIO at USDA and now president and CEO of ASI, told the DorobekINSIDER that she really liked the plan’s focus on execution.
