The number of cybersecurity jobs continues to grow in the U.S. According to new research, companies posted over 209,000 cyber-related job postings last year. That’s up 74 percent from 2007. According to Burning Glass, the D.C./Maryland/Virginia region of the country saw the highest number of cyber job postings per capita. Washington, D.C. ranked number 1 on the list of cities with the most cyber postings, with New York and the San Francisco/San Jose area coming in at number 2 and 3 respectively. As for cities seeing the biggest growth in the number of cyber jobs postings over the past 7 years, Atlanta and Denver come out on top. Both saw increases of more than 200 percent.
