NIST draft document solicits cloud users’ input

The National Institute of Standards and Technology needs your help with its guide to user experiences on cloud systems. NIST has a draft document out to explain what users expect from a cloud-based network, which should be a foundation piece for your agency’s cloud computing plans. The framework NIST is suggesting has 5 main attributes to a cloud’s user experience and 21 examples of what those involve. They’re meant to serve as a guide to explain what most people expect when they try to use a cloud system. It’s going to be part of the next volume of the agency’s Cloud Computing Technology Roadmap, the third installment of that particular series. NIST expects that roadmap to come out in the next six months. Offer your own thoughts on the draft document here.
