How to Get News Editors to Read your Press Releases and Return your Calls

The truth is that I – and many other folks responsible for making editorial decisions – want to hear from public affairs officials, PR firms and marketing departments about the stuff they think is important to the federal community. Many times, the pitch is given by a person who is excited about the offering and often times it’s something that would not otherwise have crossed my desk.
