Agencies and vendors remain on pins and needles about who the White House will name as the permanent cyber coordinator.

Melissa Hathaway has some advice for that person. She oversaw the governmentwide cyber efforts for more than a year until she left the White House in August.

Hathaway tells Jason Miller about the reasons she left and offers some thoughts where the government stands when it comes to cybersecurity.
