DoD still has work ahead to be auditable by 2017

The Defense Department’s deadline is 2017 to have its books auditable. Some parts of DoD are ready, and some parts look like they will be pushing that deadline.

The Government Accountability Office is looking at the progress the Pentagon is making. Asif Khan, director of Financial Management and Assurance Issues at GAO, shares what the watchdog agency found with In Depth with Francis Rose.
