Financial management system updates coming

In recent months, the Obama Administration announced plans to change the way it approaches significant changes to federal financial management systems.

The top accounting official in the Office of Management and Budget today spoke to federal chief financial officers and chief financial officers about the apparent change in tactics.

Danny Werfel says agencies are long overdue for a change in how to manage upgrades to financial management systems.
