FirstNet, which bills itself as the first responder network authority, has the job of deploying and operating a nationwide public safety broadband network to help foster interoperable communications.   • The Treasury Department's long-term vision for USASpending.gov is getting a boost by the DATA Act. President Barack Obama signed the Digital Accountability and Transparency Act into law in May. Christina Ho is the executive director for data transparency in the Bureau of the Fiscal Service.
