Seattle area law enforcement officers train with US Coast Guard
U.S. Coast Guard Station Seattle picks up SWAT members from the Seattle Police Department and Thurston County-Sheriff’s Office for training. The SWAT members practiced boarding a Coast Guard vessel while it transited at various speeds throughout the waters of Puget Sound. USCG regularly trains with local law enforcement units to leverage joint capabilities so that the authorities of service members and their partner agencies are ready to respond when emergencies arise.
