More than half of Android devices are vulnerable to malicious attacks on the operating system and data storage, according to a report from mobile security firm Duo Security.
The firm scanned more than 20,000 Android devices worldwide over the past few months using X-Ray, a free Android vulnerability assessment tool developed by the firm, reported TechWorld.
The Android vulnerabilities caused by slow patches are well-known and may be a concern for federal agencies who are considering the Bring Your Own Device model.
