After spending the past year scanning 680,000 sources on the Internet, security company Recorded Future reports finding 705 emails and passwords from government agencies. The credentials were connected to the Defense Department, Justice Department and agencies across the intelligence community. Recorded Future is calling on agencies to beef up security by requiring two-factor authentication and virtual private networks. Scott Donnelly is the director of presales for Recorded Future. He joined Tom Temin on the Federal Drive with more on the report.
