Beautician, coal handling and glass blowing are among the 39 occupational series that no longer have a place in the federal workforce system.

The Office of Personnel Management cancelled these series that have on average less than 25 federal employees doing the work after receiving comments from agencies.

Should you hold one of these canceled occupational series, OPM says agencies must reclassify those employees under new job classifications by next December.
