Do you have a game-changing cybersecurity technology? If you do, the National Science Foundation wants to know about it.

NSF issued its second request for information under its National Cyber Leap Year program.

The RFI wants vendors, universities and colleges and others to submit up to three leap-ahead technology concepts. NSF says multidisciplinary contributions from organizations with cybersecurity interests are especially encouraged.

Responses are due by Feb. 20.

In today’s Federal Register, NSF says the goal of the National Cyber Leap Year program is to construct a national research and technology agenda that both identifies the most promising ideas and describes the strategy that brings those ideas to fruition and to jump start game-changing multi-disciplinary development efforts.

NSF issued the first RFI in October and received 160 responses.

Starting Feb. 1, NSF will hold a series of workshops to look at the technologies with the largest potential.
