Increasingly, organizations are turning to social media tools for communication.
Email est mort, vive l’email — sadly, we can no longer really say that. Increasingly, we’re reading more and more about the fact that many organizations are getting rid of email and using social media tools, such as Facebook, instead. The blog Socialware reports that Morgan Stanley gathered statistics showing that, “social network users surpassed the number of email users in July 2009 – 820 million social network users compared to 800 million email users.” There are some, like our own Chris Dorobek, who admit that email might still be a good way to keep in touch with your mother, but there are better options out there even for that.
