Lawmakers find it might be worse than anyone thought, and they are considering legislation dealing with cybersecurity.

As Federal News Radio has reported, there are as many as 40 different cybersecurity bills now being considered on both sides of Capitol Hill.

On Wednesday, the House Homeland Security Committee tackled the subject.
