Like the proverbial NASA janitor who said his job was helping put a man on the moon, the HR, technology and contracting people in your agency should feel connected to the mission. If they don't, the mission can suffer. And their job satisfaction will go down. Those findings are from research on best places to work in government by Deloitte and the Partnership for Public Service.
