That’s a system from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that compiles real-time data from local, state, and national health facilities in an effort to stop the spread of disease. Dr. Les Lenert, director of the National Center for Public Health Informatics at the CDC, joins us to talk about how the program is being used and how it’ll be expanded in the future.
