The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently awarded a $5 billion technology services contract to 30 vendors. CDC has been working on the deal for almost three years to replace several existing contracts and promote standardization and interopability.
Jim Seligman, CDC’s chief information officer, told Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller about how the contract will change the way the agency buys technology.
