The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has completed a major IT project – the National Source Tracking System, which will track radioactive materials that medical and industrial applications use. Terrence Reis, NRC’s acting director of the Division of Materials Safety and State Agreements joined Federal News Radio to discuss the system and how the agency did on budget and deadline for such a large-scale project.
