Mike Sade, who has served in several posts in the General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service’s Integrated Technology Service, has quietly left government after 27 years. His last day at GSA was Friday. Before joining GSA, Sade worked at the Commerce Department.

His note sent to friends last week:

I will be leaving government service at the end of this week. I have had a wonderful experience working for the federal goverment for over 27 years.

I have an opportunity to take several months off to help with [family issues] and think about what I want to do in the next chapter of my life.

It has been wonderful learning from and working with all of you and I hope we will stay in touch…
