Now that we know who the next President will be, I focused on talking to some experts about transition. They all offered some guidance about different angles of the upcoming transition, not just from President Bush to President Obama, but from this Congress to a new one, with new leaders and new committee heads.

John Palguta from the Partnership For Public Service offered some “dos and don’ts” for career executives in dealing with the transition teams and new political appointees that are coming to agencies soon.
