The restructuring of the government’s technology team caused the Senate Homeland Security Subcommittee on Federal Financial Management, Government Information, Federal Services, and International Security to look at how those changes are working – and will work in the future. The hearing, called Government 2.0: Advancing America into the 21st Century and a Digital Future, included new Federal CIO Vivek Kundra; former E-gov Administrator Karen Evans; David Powner of the Government Accountability Office; and Phil Bond of TechAmerica.
