  • The General Services Administration has launched the Making Mobile Gov initiative. The goal is to help agencies understand how to use mobile computing in their mission areas and across government. Gwynne Kostin is GSA’s director of mobile in the Office of Citizen Services and Innovative Technologies. She tells Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller about phase one of the initiative and how GSA will implement the program over the next six months.
  • A major improvement in medical care for some wounded warriors. Today, they were practicing moving patients into the new Fort Belvoir community hospital. WTOP’s Hank Silverberg has the story.
  • Walter Reed closes its doors as a hospital in just two months because of BRAC. Part of the process is making sure no radioactive material is left behind. WTOP’s Darci Marchese has the story.
