  • Your agency’s final plan to to streamline federal regulations is ready to go. The administration asked agencies to make these plans under the regulatory reform agenda. OMB says businesses could save $10 billion in the next five years.
  • Your personal information may be compromised. A hacker broke into AllianceforBiz.com, and stole info on 20 thousand people. Many of them are Federal employees and contractors. eWeek.com reports hackers stole information from over a dozen agencies.
  • The federal budget deficit will have some big savings over the next decade, according to Congressional projections. The deficit will hit $1.28 trillion this year – that’s lower than the last two years. The Congressional Budget Office says budget deficits will be reduced by $3.3 trillion over the next decade.
  • The strange noises you hear in the sky tonight are supposed to be there. The Defense Department’s North American Aerospace Defense Command is running a flight exercises over the D.C area. The exercise will start at midnight and will go into Thursday morning.
