  • President Obama wants Agriculture, Commerce, Interior, Transportation and Housing and Urban Development to identify up to three high-priority projects that will create jobs. The projects must already have money. The President wants work to start in 18 months.
  • The FBI brings in a new assistant director. Sean Joyce replaces Timothy Murphy. Joyce is a 24-year FBI veteran; he’s currently the executive assistant director of the FBI’s national security branch.
  • Intel moves into the private sector. Their new subsidiary Intel Federal is designed to take on this task. NextGov reports the subsidiary’s first goal is to develop large-scale supercomputers for the Energy Department and other agencies
  • The Committee on Oversight and Government Reform wants your input on how to tackle the Postal Service’s challenges through a new website. Congressman Darrell Issa recently introduced a bill to overhaul the Postal Service.
