For the Pentagon’s suppliers, DoD’s decisions about whether to classify their products as “commercial” can have a big impact on how an acquisition goes forward. Right now, those decisions don’t always have a lot of rhyme or reason. As Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu reports, DoD is taking steps to make those determinations a bit more consistent.
