GAO: BLM’s gas, oil record keeping lax

The Bureau of Land Management needs to do a better job of collecting and tracking information related to protests of its oil and gas lease sales. That’s according to a new GAO report. Auditors say BLM doesn’t make enough of its data publicly accessible or easy to find. Frank Rusco is the Director of Natural Resources and Environment Issues at the GAO.
