NARA contest: Tweet the Bill of Rights

The National Archives says it\'s time the Bill of Rights got a hip new upgrade and need your help. Archivist David Ferriero gives us the hashtag.

It all started with a Fourth of July event, conducted by Twitter and Slate Magazine. They held a contest asking people to reduce the Declaration of Independence to 140 characters…a Tweet! The idea was such a hit with the National Archives, that the Archivist of the United States decided to hold a contest to Tweet each amendment in the Bill of Rights. Archivist David Ferriero says the whole idea is to celebrate the anniversary of the Bill of Rights.
