Texas appoints Chief Privacy Officer

The Comptroller of the state of Texas has hired a chief privacy officer after a massive data breach. InfoSecurity reports, Rogers will be in charge of designing and updating privacy standards. A data breach in April exposed the personal information of 3.5 million citizens.
