Dan Snyder: CMS focusing attention on new models of healthcare delivery

When you spend a trillion taxpayer dollars a year on health care products and services, tiny changes can have a big effect. That’s why the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services also spend billions of dollars on research into new models of care delivery. Now it’s re-competing with a big multiple award contract known as Research, Measurement, Assessment, Design and Analysis (RMADA). Dan Snyder, deputy director of contracts research at Bloomberg Government, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin with the specifics.
