Cyber threats mean more jobs in D.C. area

Hundreds of cyber-related jobs are currently open in the D.C. area.

The cybersecurity field is taking on growing importance as cyber attacks become more prevalent and that means more jobs in the D.C. area, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

Some of the nation’s largest defense contractors have an intense need for cybersecurity experts, including Booz Allen Hamilton, Lockheed Martin, and CSC.

More than 500 cyber-related jobs are currently listed on the Maryland Workforce Exchange.
