Lawmakers want U.S. steel in military vehicles

Senator Jay Rockefeller and a group of seven other senators said they want Deputy Secretary Ash Carter to change how the DoD buys metal for military vehicles.

The Defense Department is being pushed to use American steel, DoD Buzz reports.

Currently, a majority of the metal the Defense department currently uses comes from overseas.
