The Internal Revenue Service is taking the lead on government and industry information sharing. IRS Commissioner John Koskinen announced a new partnership with 20 tax industry groups and 34 states. They've identified 20 new data components that will help the IRS detect and stop identity and refund fraud this coming tax filing season.
