Agencies moving on from Cloud 101

Three years into the cloud computing experience, agencies are taking their education – and questions – to the next level.

Bill Perlowitz, Vice President of Advanced Technology for Apptis, told me today that agencies are moving beyond the basics and asking questions about cloud computing that show they understand the benefits they’ll get when they move to the cloud.

We talked about what agencies should know to get beyond “Cloud 101.” We also covered the security implications of cloud computing; and how FedRamp and other Federal cloud initiatives are changing how agencies look at cloud – and how they buy it.
