Census demographer helped bring peace to Sudan

Oliver Fischer is a demographer and a conflict monitoring and response officer with the U.S. Census Bureau and a Sammies award finalist.

Oliver Fischer is a demographer and a conflict monitoring and response officer with the U.S. Census Bureau. His work in Southern Sudan has made him a Service to America (Sammies) award nominee in the Call to Service category.
