  • Alan Balutis is one of the book’s editors and director and distinguished fellow at the Internet Business Solutions Group at Cisco. Balutis was the first chief information officer at the Commerce Department and a founding member of the Federal CIO Council. He has led studies on government performance for the President’s Council on Management Improvement, the Cabinet Council on Management and Administration, and the National Performance Review. He also is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration.
  • Dr. Robert Childs is chancellor of the National Defense University “iCollege.”
  • Dr. Norman Jacknis is cirector of Cisco’s IBSG Public Sector Group, and former CIO and commissioner of Westchester County, New York.
  • Thomas Stanton is a fellow of the Center for the Study of American Government at Johns Hopkins University.
