Customs and Border Protection is close to a final solution for its overtime problem. The agency has a program called Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime, or AUO, to give managers flexibility in scheduling. John Roth is Inspector General at the Department of Homeland Security. His office completes a deep dive on AUO at CBP. On In Depth with Francis Rose, Roth explained how the program works, the problems he looked at, and the progress the agency is making in fixing the issues.
